Passed peacefully away at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on Sunday, September 25th, Mary Freeman, age 92. Mary was born in Cat Cove, NL on January 18th, 1919.
Predeceased by her parents Eber and Ada Short, brother and sister-in-law Wilson and Rose Short, brothers-in-law John Goodyear and Ed Trudel. Left to mourn with loving memories are her husband Allan, sisters Grace Trudel of Edmonton, AB; Evelyn Goodyear of Don Mills, ON; Eileen LeDrew (Walter) of Traytown, NL; and a large circle of family and friends.
Rested at Stacey’s Funeral Home, Gander, and again at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Terra Nova, NL on Tuesday, September 27th. Funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 28th at 2:00 P.M. from Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Terra Nova. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Terra Nova. No flowers by request.
