Ramsay
The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, Sept. 26, 2011, of Walter “Wawa” Ramsay, of Summerside, aged 92 years. Born in Belmont Lot 16, he was the son of the late Claude and Annie (Barrett) Ramsay. Survived by his wife Liliane (Henriette) Ramsay; children Gary (Claudia) Ramsay, Charlottetown; Kay Reeves, Charlottetown; Ricky (Seva) Fanjoy, Toronto, ON; grandchildren Marlene (Michael) James; Kelly (Todd) Sutcliffe; Kevin Ramsay; Erin and Sarah Ramsay; Benjamin (Krystle) Fanjoy; Tasha Fanjoy; great-grandchildren Madison and Abby James; Katie Sutcliffe; Andrew Ramsay; Adam and Emma Paynter; Hayden, Lucas, Leighlin and Thatcher Ramsay; sisters Bertha (Eric) Oulton; Ruby Bannister; brother Russell (Shirley) Ramsay; his special puppy Baby Kayla; and by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his first wife Alda (MacLaurin) Ramsay; granddaughter Heather Ramsay; and by his sister Ethel Yeo. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where a private family service will be held. Interment in Central Lot 16 United Church Cemetery. No visiting hours by personal request. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
