October 18, 1956 – September 24, 2011

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gordon Lawrence announces his passing on Saturday September 24, at Dr. Charles L Legrow Health Center in Port aux Basques at the age of 54 years. He is predeceased by his sister Martha Lawrence, father-in-law Roy Priddle, nephew Shawn Hatcher and niece Cathy Fea. He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his loving family; wife Wanda (nee Priddle) of 35 years. Only daughter Lisa (Fabian) and his treasured grandsons Noah and Matthew. Gordon will be sadly missed by his parents Daniel Sr. and Gladys Lawrence. His brothers; Willard (Fay), Raymond (Pat), Danny (Liz), Perry (Susan), Dean (Norma), Bobby (Denise), Scott (Sandra) and Sisters; Louise Hatcher (Phil), Bonnetta Organ (Wesley), Julie Lawrence (Don Strickland), Anne Samms (Nelson), Coreen Skinner (Kevin), Maisie Evans (Percy), Marilyn Budduik, Shaunna Reid (Scott), Tracy Button (Darren), and Melody. Gordon will be fondly remembered by his mother-in-law Selina Priddle, sister and brother-in-laws; Penny Meade (Todd), Monica Priddle (Darren Hatcher), Brenda Lomond (Kevin), Gary Priddle (Barb), Greg Priddle, and a large circle of nieces, nephews and other family including many, many friends. Visitation took place on Monday and Tuesday at Holy Spirit Anglican Church in Isle aux Morts. Funeral services took place on Wednesday September 28, 2 PM at Holy Spirit Anglican Church officiated by Rev. Duncan Granter, interment followed at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Road.
