(Born July 10, 1913 on Oderin Island in Placentia Bay) — Passed peacefully away at the Lion’s Manor Nursing Home on October 17th, 2009. Leaving to mourn her children Mary, Theresa, Susanna, Agnes and Bill, sisters Mary, Catherine, Theresa, Susie, Emma and brothers Peter, Frank and John. Also leaving to mourn 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Predeceased by son Patrick and husband William. Also predeceased by a large circle of friends from Placentia Bay and beyond. Resting at Maher’s Funeral Home in Placentia. Funeral service at 11 a.m. Tuesday October 20th at Sacred Heart Church in Placentia. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Placentia.
