1929 - 2011

It is with great sadness that the families of William Bernard McDonald announce his sudden passing on September 25, 2011 at the age of 82 years. Leaving to mourn: sisters: Elizabeth Burt, Scarborough, Ontario; Mary (Donald) Brake, Corner Brook; Bernadine (Christopher) Anderson, Vancouver, BC; Maureen (Stanley) Semrau, Victoria, BC; one brother James (Martina) Englee; sister-in-law Ella Burt, Whitby, Ontario and special friend Bertha Payne, Rocky Harbour; a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents; Bernard and Margaret McDonald, brothers: Thomas, George, James, Joseph, sister Joan and wife Mary (Buckles). Funeral arrangements under the direction of Fillatre’s Funeral Home, St. Anthony. A vigil will be held at the R.C. Church Englee at 7 PM, Friday, September 30th. Funeral Mass with Father Devas officiating will take place the following day at 1:00 PM. as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
