AUFFREY, AURÈLE - 1925 - 2011 - Aurèle Auffrey, 86, of Dieppe, NB, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, September 29th, 2011, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center. Born in St-Joseph, NB, he was the son of the late Ben and the late Rosalie (née: Gaudet) Auffrey. Mr. Auffrey had worked for Marvin's for 35 years and also at the Moncton Hospital for 15 years. He was also a parishioner of Ste-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Alexina (née: Albert); three daughters: Ginette (Brent) Pettipas of Moncton, Nadine Babin of Sussex and Lynne (Michael) McCrea of Moncton; three sisters: Rita (Leonard) Leger of Memramcook, Edmée (late Antoine) Cormier of Sommersville, Conn. and Thérèse (Alphonse) Cormier of Dieppe; six grandchildren: Shawn (Marie-Ève), Krista, Mathieu, Véronique, Christopher and Stéphanie; one great grandson, Miles as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers: Alonzo and baby Joseph.
No visitation. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Ste-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB, on Saturday, October 1st, 2011 at 10: 30 am. Donations to the Dr. Georges-L.
