DANCEY, William Carlson – It is with great sadness that we announce Will's death. He passed away suddenly at home in Halifax, September 24, 2011. Born in St. John's, he was the son of L. Carlson and Audrey L. (Efford) Dancey. He was a songwriter, goldsmith, creator and explorer. He touched many people with his humour, creativity and bright mind. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed. He is survived by his sister Allison Dancey, and his daughter, Amelia Stoodley-Dancey; who lives as his best creation and the pride of his life. He will be affectionally remembered by his extended family and many friends, especially Holly and Austin, Joanne and Louise, Bradley, Aunt Ellen Fraser and Uncle Tom Efford. A gathering of friends and family will take place at Barrett's Funeral Home at 328 Hamilton Avenue on Thursday, October 6 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM.
