MURPHY, Kathleen — Passed peacefully away at her residence in Cape Broyle on September 30, 2011, Kathleen Murphy, at the age of 98 years. Predeceased by her husband Gerald in 1990, sisters Annie Hayes, Agnes Glynn, Georgina Hartery; brothers Frank and John Hartery. Leaving to mourn with loving memories, daughter Georgina Harvey (Gerard), son's William, Albert (Maureen), and Columba. Grandchildren Rowena, Lori Jackman (Bill), Jerrold and April Harvey; Jeff Murphy (Holly); Christopher Murphy, Nicole O’Driscoll (Dale); Beverly Murphy-Welsh (John) and Sharon Kitchen (Don). Great-grand children William and Amelia Jackman, Taylor and Cameron Welsh, Brooklyn Kitchen, Melissa and Isabell Murphy, and Sophie Rose O’Driscoll. Sisters Sr. Mary Columba of McCauley Convent, and Margaret Crockwell. Sisters-in-law Marie Hartery, Hannah Mary Synard, Melinda Murphy. Brothers-in-law Ambrose Murphy (Mary). Resting at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, October 1st and Sunday 2-9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial from Immaculate Conception Church, Cape Broyle, on Monday, October 3rd, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of the Cape Cemetery, Cape Broyle.
