Phillip “Dale” HOFFMAN
June 16, 1948 – October 14, 2009
Dale was born in Moose Jaw in 1948 and spent his childhood in different communities in Saskatchewan. As a young adult he came to Prince Albert where he reunited with family. He spent the majority of his life here until his passing. Friends and family knew him as an “interesting” man who “had been there and done that”. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren and had recently connected with his special friend, Ailen from the Philippines. He loved teasing others, work, his computer, bingo and family gatherings. His sudden passing was a shock and he will be missed by those who knew and loved him. Dale is survived by his daughter Darlene (Rick) Johannesson and their children Jacqueline and Jason; his daughter Kym (Ryan) Childress and their children Tailyn, Mia and Miller; his daughter Kari Hoffman and her son Ethan; his son Jason (Kim) Dreaver and their daughter Ocean; his daughter Michelle Dreaver; his brothers Trevor (Leona) Chamberlain and Brent Copas; his sisters Candis (Darrell) Zell, Rae Copas, Marie Copas and Patsy Copas; other family members; special friend Ailen Panugan and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Donald and Freda and his brothers Donald, John, Larry and Jack. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Reverend Tony Thompson officiating.
