Passed peacefully away at Chancellor Park on October 1, 2011 at the age 89. Leaving to mourn are his Sons Harold (Alice) Miles of St. John’s, George (Alice) Miles of St. George’s, and Robert Miles of Boswarlos; Daughters Rita (Mike) Siscoe of paradise, Catherine (Peter) Macdonald of Toronto, Debbie (Kevin Spearns) of St. John’s and Rejena (Jon Faulds) of Edmonton; also many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. At Norman’s request, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date on the West Coast. The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff and management of Chancellor Park whose care and devotion immeasurably enhanced the last year of his life.
