Passed away on Friday, September 30th, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. James Joseph Ryan age 80 years. Predeceased by his mother and father Thomas and Mary; mother and father – in- law Frank and Dorothy English; brothers Gerry, Robert (Livie), Joe; sisters Catherine, Margaret (Mike Haggerty); brothers – in – law John Walsh, Pearcy Chafe; sister – in – law Carol Pittman. Leaving to mourn with loving memories his wife of 55 years Mary (English); his six children who loved him dearly Sue Ann, Jim (Lorraine), Michelle (Allan Murphy), Sean (Linda), Barry (Donna) and Chris (Tonia); seven grandchildren who he adored Bradley, Taylor, Jennifer, Rebecca, Nicholas, Mitchell and Tyler; and his buddy Jazz the cat; brother and sisters Mike (Dorothy), Tom (Betty), Mary Walsh, Lena Chafe and Sister Callista; brother and sisters – in – law Joni & Dave Gillingham, Ann & Gerry Meadus, Patsy & Wade Taylor, Bob & Judy English, Paddy & Dianne English, Alice & Keith O’Reilly, Shirley & Pat Ryan and Frank English. Four lifelong friends Austin & Marg Gosling and Pat & Carol Densmore, as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Sunday and Monday from 12 noon – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, October 4th, 2011 from Corpus Christi Church at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at R.C.
