Robert Willis Young
January 18, 1922 – September 30, 2011
Bob passed away peacefully in the Moose Jaw Union Hospital. He was raised in the Stoney Beach district, and moved to Moose Jaw when he was 13. Bob spent five years Royal Canadian Airforce, two of which were spent in Ireland. He was predeceased by his parents John and Ada, twelve brothers and sisters, and a half-brother, two daughters, two grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Eileen, son Don (Janet) and daughter Rhonda (Glen) Neff; seven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at the Moose Jaw Union Hospital, and the staff at Providence Place and Crescent Park Retirement Villa. A Service of Remembrance will be held at W.J. Jones & Son Chapel on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. Reverend David Moore will officiate. Interment will take place at the Bethune Cemetery. For those so wishing, memorials may be directed to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 917 Albert Street, Regina, S4R 2P6. In living memory of Bob, a tree will be planted in Besant Park by W. J.
