DAIGLE, ODELIE - (1914-2011) - SAINT-ANTOINE, NB - Odelie Daigle (née Robichaud) 97, passed away peacefully after a brief illness at her residence, Foyer Saint-Antoine on Sunday, October 2nd, 2011. Born in St. Louis de Kent, she was the daughter of the late Urbain “Rubin” and the late Odile (Robichaud) Robichaud. Odelie will be sadly missed by her two daughters; Yvette Allain (late Armand) of St. Antoine, Helen Allain (late Aurèle) of Cap Lumière, her two sons; Edmond Daigle (late Susan) of St. John, Ira Daigle (Marguerite Patrick) of Fredericton, her 20 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, as well as by her special goddaughter; Polyanne LeBlanc. Other than by her parents, Odelie is predeceased by her husband; Edmond Daigle, a daughter; Grace Daigle, two sons; Rufineau and René, a grandson; Roger Allain, three sisters; Marguerite, Rosanna, Florence, four brothers; Firmain, René and two infant brothers.
Resting at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Thursday from noon until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 6th, 2011 at 2:00 pm, St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto. Interment will be in the Aldouane cemetery.
