MARY KELLY MACAULAY

CARD OF THANKS
“Mary (Kelly) MacAulay”
Glace Bay
There are so many people to thank for their overwhelming support and kindness during the recent loss of our beloved mother, grandmother and sister who passed away September 15, 2011. Sincere thanks and gratitude to all who expressed their sympathy in the form of cards, Mass enrollments, charitable donations, flowers, food, gift certificates, e-mails, telephone calls and your many kind words during our time of sorrow. To those who visited the funeral home and those who attended the funeral we are forever grateful. Thank you to Dr. Jamie MacLean, who went beyond the call of duty and the excellent staff of Taigh Na Mara, who for the last four years treated Mom with kindness, respect, efficiency and dignity. To Fr. John McIntyre who performed the sacrament of the sick and in his offering of comfort and support to our family, many thanks. To Fr. Leo Boone, who celebrated the funeral Mass and expressed Mom’s joy of living and her love for her family and friends with such accuracy, we will never forget you. To the pallbearers, Mom’s brothers, Ned, Dennis, Bernie, John, Willie and nephew Jerome Kelly, thank you. We express our gratitude to altar servers, Wishie O’Neil, Fabe MacKinnon, Jim McIntyre and the lectors, Jude Kelly, Mom’s brother and Peter Egan Mom’s brother-in-law who delivered beautiful readings. To Mom’s five grandchildren, Jill and Brianna who read the intentions and Chad, Ryan and Luke who took up the offertory gifts, Nana loved you and was always so proud of you. Thank you to Eucharistic Minister, Andrew Yorke, a friend of the family, who frequently visited Mom. A special thank you to the choir composed of special people in Mom’s life Suzanne Gracie, Johnna Nickelo, Gwen Campbell, Joan Roach and Joan MacNeil, who all attributed to giving Mom a wonderful send off. To Winnie and Pat Chafe, who brought tears to our eyes with their compassionate rendition of “Wind Beneath My Wings”, we were so touched. A special Thank You to Mom’s sisters, Cleo Egan and Ann Boudreau, who took care of Mom’s every need with genuine love. Nancy and Ralph, who always treated Mom with so much love and affection, we love you. Thank you to the Ladies of St. John’s Parish who served a delicious lunch after the Celebration of Mom’s Life. Last but not least, to the staff of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home especially Cordell and Mom’s nephew, David Kelly, who took care of every detail, many, many, thanks.
Daughter Belinda Hoffman and Son Gary MacAulay
