Jane Powell passed away after a short battle with brain disease on October 1, 2011 at the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice Home.

Jane leaves behind, her partner of 16 years, Nick Maika, her son Bruce (Anne-Marie), granddaughters: Kate and Emma, her brother John (Janie) of England and her niece Emma Ross also of England.

We wish to extend our sincere thanks to Dr.'s Loland and Collier, the nurses and staff at R.I.H. 7N, as well as the nurses and staff at Hospice for their care.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Jane at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at St. Paul's Anglican Cathedral.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jane may be made to the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice Home, 72 Whiteshield Cres. S., Kamloops, BC V2E 2S9.
