Born in O’Leary on Dec. 8, 1918, daughter of the late Ord and Alice (Sambrooke) Sharpe. Cherished mother of Eric (Fairley), O’Leary, Elizabeth Christie (Glen), Oxford, N.S., Loving grandmother of Terry (Christina) Phillips, O’Leary, Philip (Caroline) Christie, Saint John, N.B., Nancy Anne (Christopher) Foran, Stillwater, N.S., and her great-grandchildren Noah and Josh Phillips, Jemma, Lilla and Pippa Christie, Sydney and Evan Foran. Sister-in-law of Beulah Sharpe, Ellerslie. Predeceased by her husband Waldo, grandson, Kent Phillips, brother, Albert, and sister, Evelyn, and her husband, Reg Lockhart. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary, with visiting hours Wednesday, 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral on Thursday in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in St. Luke’s Anglican Cemetery, Woodstock. Memorials to St. Luke’s Cemetery Fund or 4-H Foundation of P.E.I. would be appreciated.
