Betty Ross
Betty Louise (Hardy) Ross, 61, of Scotsburn, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on October 3, 2011 in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, Milton; daughter, Carol (Angus) Swantee; son, Mark (Jennel); and her grandchildren: Matthew, Averie and Brett; brother, Stewart (Linda) Hardy; sisters, Nancy Flemming and Doris Jean (Stan) Wong.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sister, Jane Arnold and brother, Fred Hardy.
Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. Funeral will take place 2 p.m. Friday from Scotsburn United Church, with Rev. Sheila Redden-Smith officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery. Immediately following the funeral, the celebration of Betty’s life will continue with a reception at Stonehame Chalets in Scotsburn.
No flowers by request. Donations in her memory may be made to the Aberdeen Palliative Care Society or The Lodge That Gives, Halifax.
