Amherst and Ward’s Brook
Spicer, Joanne P. – 70, of Amherst, formerly of Mississauga and Ward’s Brook passed away Monday, October 3, 2011 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan. Born in Parrsboro, she was a daughter of the late Wyman and Margaret (Jeffers) Morris. She is survived by her companion of 28 years, James “Jimmy” Brown; daughter, Donna Crossman (Ivan), Amherst; a son, Robert, Brampton, Ont.; grandchildren, Corey and Katie, Amherst; special great-granddaughter, Kenzie Lee Ann, Amherst; a sister, Marilyn McQuaid, London, Ont.; brothers, Gary Morris (Judy), Parrsboro; Blake Morris, Stellarton; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Neil and Robert. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. on Friday [October 7, 2011] at the Riverbank Cemetery, Port Greville, Rev. Greg Doyle officiating.
