It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Agnes Butt of Pinware, NL, announce her passing on Sept 30, 2011 on route to Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s after a tragic accident on Trans Labrador Highway in West St. Modeste at the age of 71 years. Leaving to mourn with loving memories daughter Elaine Pike (Kevin); sons Ivan (Gina), and Darren (Peggy); grandchildren LeRoy, Jeremy, Jordhan, Megan, Christian, Ivani, Sarah, and Sophie; and great-grandchild Jason, as well as a large circle of other family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Clifford, parents Francis and Margaret Beals. Visitation took place at the Roman Catholic Church in West St. Modeste on Sunday from where the funeral service took place on Monday, Oct. 3, 2011 at 2 p.m. with Fr. Anthony officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery in Pinware. As expressions of sympathy flowers were graciously accepted. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, L’Anse au Loup.
