It is with gratitude that we, the family of the late Reverend Vincent J.MacLellan, wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who shared with
us in the loss of our “Fr. Vinceâ€, whom we so dearly loved. To all those who called, sent food, mass cards, sympathy cards, memorial donations and floral arrangements, as well as those from far and near who participated, by your presence, in the wake and funeral, we thank you sincerely. To St. F.X.Dean Father Alex MacKinnon and homilist Father Rod B. MacDonald who led us in a touching Bible Vigil. To the bishop and
to the many concelebrants from the Diocese of Antigonish, thank you for your presence and solidarity. To Father Paul MacNeil for your magnificent homily. To lectors Sister Maureen MacIsaac, CND, Claire Rollin, and Sister Millie MacNeil, CND, who proclaimed beautifully. To grandnieces and grandnephews who presented the offertory gifts. To the servers of St. Ninian’s Parish who very capably carried our their ministry. To St. Ninian’s Cathedral Senior Choir; organist and choir director James MacPherson, cantor Margaret MacGregor MacDonald and to soloist Henrietta MacNeil and violin soloist John Pellerin, thank you for enhancing the liturgy with such uplifting
and heartfelt music and song. To the pall bearers, who consisted of representatives from the Antigonish Highland Society, the RoyalCanadian Legion, and the Knights of Columbus, thank you for your fellowship. To the Administration, Faculty and Staff of St. F. X. University, the Knights of Columbus, Royal Canadian Legion, as well as the Antigonish Highland Society, thank you for the various ways you touched us by your participation in the wake and funeral. for the lovely refreshments during the wake and after the funeral. To Lee and Donnie McCarron and staff of Green Meadows Adult Care Facility,sincere gratitude for the loving care given to Fr. Vince. To Fathers Alex
MacKinnon and Paul MacNeil, who were so supportive and faithful to Father Vince especially during his illness. It was so evident to us during the wake and funeral how much Fr. Vince was loved, which comforted us greatly during this
