Passed peacefully away in the presence of family at the Health Sciences Centre on October 3, 2011, age 91 years, from Musgravetown. Predeceased by husband Lloyd, son-in-law William, sister Florence, sisters-in-law Hilda and Evelyn, brothers-in-law Hubert and Joseph. Left with fond memories are her daughter Betty, and sons Morris (Winetta), Val (Janet); grandchildren Greg, Leanne, Lori, Jeff (Lisa), Roderick (Christine), Kimberly (Todd), Christopher (Paula), Stephen (Dawn), Robert (Suz); great-grandchildren Avery, Abigail, Ashley, Jessica, Hunter and Carter; sisters Evelyn, Dora, Linda, Susie and Myrtis; sisters-in-law Daisy and Jean; brother-in-law Harold (Muriel) and many nieces, nephews and friends. Special thanks go out to the doctors and nurses at the Health Sciences Centre, G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville, the staff at the Clarenville Retirement Centre, and the staff at Glenbrook Lodge in St. John’s, all of whom made the last few months as comfortable as possible for Ella and her family. Also special thanks to sister-inlaw Daisy Ivany for all her help in Clarenville.
