Passed away suddenly at his home in Mount Pearl on October 4th, 2011, age 58. Predeceased by his parents, Tim and Lucy Leonard, sisters Helen (Leo), Ethel and Phyllis. Leaving to mourn his children: Heidi, Samantha, and Tim (Terri) and their mother, Marilyn; sisters: Noreen (John) Barton, Regina, Pat (Gerry) Dawson, Sheila (Presentation Convent); brothers: Gerald (Trudy), Brian, (Marlene), Myles, John (Carol), and Blair (Liz); mother-in-law, Carmella Kelly, the Kelly Family and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl on Thursday, October 6th , 7:00 - 9:00 pm, and Friday, October 7th from 2:00 - 5:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm, with Vigil at 8:00 pm. Funeral Liturgy on Saturday, October 8th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church on Ashford Drive in Mount Pearl. Cremation to follow. No flowers by request. Donations may be made in his memory to The Ronald MacDonald House or The Children's Wish Foundation.
