Frances ‘Fran’ Mernie Bowser passed away Oct. 19, 2009, in Halifax.
She was the daughter of the late James and Sadie Campbell and stepdaughter of W.M. ‘Sketch’ Campbell.
She was a retired employee of the federal government.
She loved to play cards, crib, bingo and to travel. She enjoyed her winters in St. Petersburg, Fla., for 15 years until Cy passed away in 1998.
She is survived by her daughter, Charlene Brown, Bridgetown; brother, Donald (Fran) Campbell, Sydney; great-grandchildren, Nicole and Kevin Russell and several nieces and nephews
Predeceased by her husband, Cyril ‘Cy’ Bowser and brother, Peter (Gwen) Campbell.
There will be no visitation by request of the family. A private family interment will be held at a later date at the Resurrection Cemetery in Sydney.
