At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, October 6, 2011 of Jean S. MacDonald of Charlottetown and formerly of Hunter River, age 87 years.
Loving mother of Gwenneth Wyand (Elwin), Harvey MacDonald (Kathy) and Nancy Chandler (Allan). Grandmother of Kent Wyand (Dianne), Gayle Forrester (Tony), Sharon Gallant (Kent), Carmen Wyand (Sylvia), Stacey Wyand (Paul MacKinnon), David MacDonald (Jeannette Verleun), Michael MacDonald (Stacey), Jennifer MacDonald, Kaylee Chandler and Alison Chandler. Great-grandmother of Jeremy, Darren, Valecia, Donovan, Patrick and Reese Wyand, Myles and Brayden Gallant, Keyth Forrester and Cohen Chandler. Sister of Joyce MacKinnon and Vivian Fyfe (Donald). Sister-in-law of Harold MacDonald and Lois Stevenson.
Predeceased by her parents David and Elsie (Spence) Edwards, her husband Elmer G. MacDonald, by her sister Evelyn Smith, by her brothers-in-law James MacKinnon, Russell Smith, Robert Stevenson and by her sister-in-law Laura MacDonald.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Sunday at 2 p.m. Interment in New Glasgow Cemetery. Visitation Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined.
