Passed away suddenly at his home in Mount Pearl on October 4th, 2011, age 58. Predeceased by his parents Tim and Lucy Leonard, sisters Helen (Leo), Ethel and Phyllis. Leaving to mourn his children: Heidi, Samantha, and Tim (Terri) and their mother Marilyn; sisters: Noreen (John) Barton, Regina, Pat (Gerry) Dawson, Sheila (Presentation Convent); brothers: Gerald (Trudy), Brian, (Marlene), Myles, John (Carol), and Blair (Liz); mother-in-law, Carmella Kelly, the Kelly Family and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl on Thursday, October 6th 7:00 - 9:00 pm, and Friday, October 7th from 2:00 - 5:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm, with Vigil at 8:00 pm. Funeral Liturgy at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 8th at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church on Ashford Drive in Mount Pearl. Cremation to follow with interment to take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery on Monday, October 9th at 10:30 am. No flowers by request.
