MOFFATT, William Dale, of Conception Bay South, passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Center on Saturday, September 24, 2011, surrounded by his loving family. Left to mourn are his loving wife, Regina Clarke; sons: Kyle Andrew and Evan Cyril, CBS; step-children: Christine Callahan (Cindy), Ottawa, Stephen Callahan (Lacey) and Mark Callahan, St. John's; his parents: William and Freda (Thorburn) Moffatt; sister Jane Elizabeth (Brian) Stewart; brother Peter Michael (Marlene) Moffatt, all of Blacks Harbour, NB and a large circle of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Born on April 3, 1954 at Grace Maternity Hospital in Halifax, he grew up in Clark’s Harbour, NS and graduated from Barrington High School. A long-time employee of Canada Revenue Agency in St. John's, NL, he retired in 2008. Dale developed a great love for Newfoundland, its people and culture. He loved dogs, fishing, the outdoors and all things Newfoundland. His funeral took place at Barrett's Funeral Home, Mount Pearl on Thursday, September 29, 2011.
