BOUCHER, Mary Esther - 76, of Kentville, passed away Monday, October 3, 2011 in Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. Born in Weymouth, she was a daughter of the late Clifford and Gladys (Saulnier) Doucette. She had been employed at Sobey’s in Kentville and later at the Royal Bank in Kentville for 23 years, until she retired. She was a member of the West Nova Scotia Regiment Reserves (CWAC). She is survived by her husband, Lawrence; a daughter, Betty Moors, Meadowview; a son, Brian (Joan), Vancouver; a sister, Ruth Melanson, Plympton; two brothers, Reginald (Pat), Weymouth; Clifford, Gilbert’s Cove; four granddaughters and five great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a number of sisters and brothers. Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2011 with prayers held at 7:30 p.m. in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. The funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 6, 2011 in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Kentville, Father Craig Christenson officiating. Burial took place in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Kentville. A reception followed in St. Joseph’s Parish Centre. Family flowers only, by request.
