CARD OF THANKS - LOUIS LESSIE
A simple "Thank You" seems inadequate to express how we the family of the late Louis (Louie) Lessie feel. To our relatives, friends and neighbours, thank you for your kindness, compassion and support during our recent loss. Sincere thanks to all for the many phone calls, floral tributes Mass cards, sympathy cards, online condolences, and to those who visited our home, sent food and made memorial donations in Louie's name. To Pastor Sheldon Chant, thank you for the uplifting and heartfelt service. To Kenneth, Kirk and Sheldon thanks for the inspiring musical selections. Kirk, your solo will always hold a special place in our hearts, you truly have gift from God. To the pallbearers, Jimmy MacNeil, Brian MacNeil, Ronnie French, Albert Rose, Donnie Floyd, and Paul Barrett, thank you. A special sincere thank you to Germaie McLeod and Orella MacNeil for the very appropriate readings; they were a tribute to Dad. T Brian MacNeil for the eulogy, it captured the essence of Louie's personality, thank you. We both would like to thank Dr Andrew Waiver, the nursing staff and all other staff members who touched Dads life during his stay at the Harbour View Veterans wing in Sydney Mines. The kindness, compassion and professionalism shown to Dad are a testament of who each of you are. You gave Louie a quality of life that we will always be grateful for. Our deepest appreciation goes out to the S.W. Chant and Son Funeral Home for their compassion and comfort as well as professionalism shown to us, it was exceptional. To Wendy Lynk for understanding our loss and guiding us during this difficult time. To our family members who traveled to be with us, thank you. For our friends, Albert and Selena Rose, there are no words that we can convey to express the gratitude we hold in our hearts for all you did. You, as well as, Maureen ensured that we and our guests were comforted in our home. We are blessed to call you friends. To Louie's sister, Patricia MacNeil, her sons and their spouses and families and well as Louie's niece, Donna Barrett (Paul), thank you for the support shown to us, it will never be forgotten. To Jack's mother-in-law, Evenly French and her sons and daughters and their spouses and family members, a heart filled thank you for your love and support.
