LANGIS, YVONNE (1917 - 2011) - Yvonne Langis, 94, of Villa du Repos, Moncton, NB, passed away on Saturday, October 8th, 2011, at her residence. Born in Richibucto, NB, she was the daughter of the late Alexandre and the late Elmina (née: Maillet) Daigle. Mrs. Langis was a member of Les Dames de Ste-Anne and Ste-Thérèse parish. She is survived by one daughter, Janice Langis of Dieppe; one son, Donald Langis of Dieppe; one daughter-in-law, Sharon (Bob) Dupuis of Moncton; one brother, Yvon Daigle of Moncton; three grandchildren: Jacqueline (Michel) Belliveau, Carolyn (Roger) LeBlanc and Christine Langis; two great grandchildren: Jocelyne and Emily as well as by several nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her husband, Alphonse in 1979; two sons: Bernard and Raymond; four sisters: Prescille, Lorraine, Emerise and Marie as well as seven brothers: Alphonse, Alphonse, Fidèle, Philippe, Alexandre, Alcide and Edouard.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Christ-Roi Roman Catholic Church, Moncton, NB on Wednesday, October 12th, 2011, at 11 am. Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB. Donations to a memorial of the donor's choice or masses in her memory would be appreciated by the family.
