LEWIS, ROBINA MABEL - Robina Mabel Lewis of Chipman, passed away peacefully at her home with her daughter, Darlene by her side on October 10th, 2011 at the age of 82; daughter of the late Larkin and Blanche (Clarke) Daye. Robina will be sadly missed by her children, Darlene Ryder of Havelock, NB, Sandra (Ronnie) Boudreau of Cumberland Bay, NB, Katherine and Deborah Lewis both of Edmonton AB, Roger (Judy) Lewis of Hardwood Ridge, NB, Terrance of Calgary, AB, and Michael (Darlene) of Chipman, NB; brother, Richard (Cheryl) Daye of Moncton, NB; 11 grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her husband Harold in 2001; sisters, Audrey Fairweather, Janette Pyne and Muriel Kilfillen; grandson, James Ryder. Robina loved her family, she enjoyed Quilting and Bowling. She was a member of the Phythian sisters chapters in Chipman. Robina was proud to work as a nurses aide at the W.G. Bishop Nursing Home in Minto for over 20 years.
Resting at Chipman Funeral Home with visitation on Wednesday, October 12th, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from the Second Chipman United Baptist Church on Thursday, October 13th, 2011 at 2:00 pm with Pastor David Egers officiating. Interment in the Second Chipman United Baptist Cemetery following the service.
