PAUL, DOUGLAS ALLEN "BUCK" - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Douglas Allen Paul "Buck" on October 9th, 2011. Douglas was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick on May 4, 1973. He graduated from Fredericton High School in 1992, and received his BBA from the University of New Brunswick in 2009. Douglas loved his family and children and enjoyed spending time with his friends. He was the son of Barbara Paul and the late Melvin "Jose" Paul and grandfather Ronnie Paul. He is survived by his wife Mandy Paul (Wellwood); four children, Kayin (Anita), Emma (Anita) both from Victoria BC, Selena and Krystina; sister's Amber Keeton (Kevin) of North Carolina, Chrissy Bartibogue; brother's William Bartibogue and Marcus Augustine, all from Burnt Church, NB; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many cousins. Special mention to Dawn Washam of North Carolina, his best friend "Rick Howe" and god-son "Braeden Carty". He was predeceased by his father Melvin "Jose" Paul, aunt "Susan Brooks", Aunt Pauline Paul, Aunt Phyllis Paul and Grandmother Geraldine Paul.
Douglas will be resting in traditional style at the home of his uncle Thomas Brooks at 25 Brooks Court, beginning Wednesday, October 12th, 2011 at 3 Pm until Friday, October 14th, 2011. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 14th, 2011 at 11AM located at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Rev. Monte peters officiating along with a traditional ceremony performed by his Uncle Wayne Brooks. The interment to follow immediately after the service at St. Anthony's Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be Ken Barkhouse, Desmond Brooks, Randy Brooks, Randy Firth, Rick Howe, Chris Lewis, Monty Paul and Johnny Rousselle. Memorials may be made to the fight for Suicide Prevention and Awareness. Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton is in charge of arrangements.
