BUDD, BERTHA J. - Bertha J. Budd, 82, of Moncton, with loving members of her family at her side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, October 8, 2011. Born in Gardner, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Abel and Emilie (Bastrache) Belliveau. Bertha was a member and past president of the Ladies Auxillary with Sunny Brae Legion, Branch #54, she enjoyed bowling and playing darts in her younger years and she enjoyed spending time with her family. Bertha will be sadly missed by her loving sons, Richard (Phyllis) of Calgary, AB, Michael of Edmonton, AB, Daniel (Diane) of Moncton and Robert of Moncton; grandchildren, Natalie Losier (Charles) and Mellissa Budd; precious great grandchildren, Kayla, Emily, Cyrus and Madeline; brother, George Belliveau (Evelyn) of Gardner, Massachusetts; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Leonard Budd (1999).
Visitation will be held at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road Moncton (858-1995) on Wednesday from 3 to 5pm. Public Graveside Service to be held at Elmwood Cemetery on Thursday October 13, 2011 at 11:00am with Rev. Harold MacDonald
