Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit, Miller Centre after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, October 21, 2009, age 71 years of Chamberlains, CBS. Predeceased by husband Nelson, parents Noah and Mary Rideout, sisters Phoebe Eason, Rita Butler, Elsie Greeley, brothers Ernest, Malcolm, twin brother Noah, Carroll and Eric Rideout, brothers-in-law Andrew Greeley and William Eason, nephew Wilfred Eason. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories daughter Peggy (David O’Donnell); sons: Gary (Gail) and Howard (Roxanne); grandchildren: Meghan, Jeffrey, Scott, Mitchell and Kayla Fowler; great-grandson: Jackson Kennedy; sisters: Helen Wiseman (Ron) and Esther Hunt (Gord); sisters-in-law: Daphne, Edna, Rita and Frances Rideout; brother-in-law William Butler; special friends: Amy and Eric Dodge, Elsie and Frank Taylor and Gail and Ern Leslie. Also nieces, nephews and a large circle of other family and friends. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Thursday 10 a.m. to 9 pm and Friday 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
