November 11, 1945 - October 20, 2009. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Kevin Patrick Pickett of Marystown announce his passing at his home in Marystown on Tuesday October 20, 2009 at the age of 63. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories wife Betty of 40 years; sons: Troy (Kathleen) of Austin, Texas, and Tony of Marystown; daughter Tina of Fort St. John, BC; step-son Todd (Nadine) Slaney of Airdrie, AB; four grandchildren: Samantha, Sarah, Kevin and Keagan; sisters Margaret (Howard) Stewart, Patricia (Tony) Fitzpatrick, and Michelle (Mike) Duke; brothers John (Holly) Pickett, Peter Pickett, Vincent Pickett, Gerard (Sherri) Pickett, and Bernard Pickett; sisters-in-law Gertrude (Kevin) Brockerville, Phyllis (Marcel) Belanger, Carmel Howlett, and Sadie (Julian) Rennie; brothers-in-law John (Veronica) Slaney, Val (Edith) Slaney, and Edward (Carmelita) Slaney; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by parents Michael and Christine Pickett. Resting and Visitation to take place from Wiseman’s Funeral Homes in Marystown on Wednesday October 21st from 12pm - 9pm; and Thursday October 22nd from 10am - 12noon. Prayer Vigil to be held on Wednesday October 21st at 8:00pm from Wiseman’s Funeral Homes. Funeral Mass to take place at Sacred Heart R.C. Church in Marystown on Thursday October 22nd at 2:00pm.
