Peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home on Friday Oct. 7, 2011, of Mrs. Ronalda Marie Gallant (nee O’Hanley) of Charlottetown, aged 64 years.
Beloved wife of the late Deryl Gallant. Cherished mother of Tracey Gallant, Nancy (Kenny) Vail, Amanda (Darren) Hughes, Deryl (Elizabeth) Gallant. Loving gramma of Sam, Anna, Luke, Reuben and Benjamin Vail; Isaac, Charlotte Hughes; Jacob, Sophie and Oliver Gallant. Much adored sister of Dianne, Carol, Lynn, Michelle and Gerry. Ronalda will also be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Reuben and Frances (nee Paquet) O’Hanley and infant brother and sister Cathy and Monty.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral home until 9:45 on Wednesday morning, then transferred to St. Dunstan’s Basilica for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in the family plot at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
If so desired, memorials in Ronalda's memory may be made to the Hospice Palliative Care Association of P.E.I. or the St. Vincent De Paul Society.
