At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday Oct. 8, 2011, of Shirley A. Gauthier of Charlottetown age 71 years.
Dear mother of Debbie (Jack) Long, Ronnie (Parwati) Gauthier, and Tracy (Ray) Smith. She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Chantal Laybolt (Lance Matheson), Katie Laybolt, Robyn Smith, Becca Smith, great-grandsons Lucas Matheson, Xander Rose, Wesley Rose, her brothers and sisters Charlie (Sandra) Gauthier, Carol (Ricky) Ross, Wilfred (Cathy) Gauthier, Peggy Arthur, Sandra (Joe) Knockwood, and Darlene (Jimmy) Eldershaw.
She was predeceased by her parents Charles and Margaret Gauthier, her daughters Brenda and Shelly, her brothers Dick and Leo, her sister Marge and brother-in-law Buddy Arthur.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 12:45 on Wednesday afternoon, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 1 p.m. Interment will take place later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday 6 to 9 p.m.
