Donald Tower, age 75, passed away peacefully at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Thursday, October 6, 2011. Born in Rockport, he was a son of the late Manford and Oressa (Crossman) Tower.
Donald enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Donald will be sadly missed by his wife, Rachel (Wry) Tower, of Middleton; 2 sons, James (Tina) of Calgary, AB, and Shawn of Toronto, ON; 3 daughters, Deborah (Stephen) Wells of Sackville, Lorraine (Allen) Tower of Oshawa, ON, and Sherry LeBlanc of Middleton; 6 grandchildren, Kristopher, Tanya, Nadine, Natasha, Leah and Jessica; great grandchildren, Dana, Ethan and Keegan; brother, Percy (Joyce) of Dorchester; and sister, Dorothy MacKinnon of Chiliwack, BC, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister Helen Rankin and a brother Carmen; 2 half-brothers, Norman and Earl; and 3 half-sisters, Marion, Nora and Frances.
Cremation has taken place under the care and supervision of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St, Sackville (364-1300), from where a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 11 am, Paster Hal Lowther officiating. Burial will take place in the Sackville Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Donald may do so the Sackville Food Bank, or a charity of your choice.
