ANGEVINE (Butler), Beth - 58, Truro. It is with a broken heart that we announce the passing of Beth on Monday evening, October 10, 2011, in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. She was born in Silver Spring, MD, and was a daughter of the late John Duffy and Terry (Lynch) Butler. Beth battled cancer for the last 23 years. Beth is survived by her husband, David; sons, Duffy, Halifax; Daniel and wife Jennifer, Calgary; Dennis, London; brother, John, wife Beverley, and children Amy and Colin: Waynesville, Ohio; sister, Anne; niece, Sharon; nephew, Sean and his wife, Nicole and children Thomas, Joshua, Jacob, all of Long Island, NY. Beth’s family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Daniel Rayson and chemo nurses at the Dixon Cancer Unit in Halifax; our deepest thanks to Dr. Rob Graham in Truro, you are super; and to all the nurses on the 3rd floor who helped make Beth’s last days more comfortable. You are special and may God bless you all. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall ~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where Beth’s family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m., today, October 12, 2011. A Celebration Service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, October 13, 2011, at Immanuel Baptist Church, 295 Young Street, Truro, Pastor Cory Somers officiating. Reception will follow in the church hall.
