CLARK, CONSTANCE - Constance Carmel Clark passed away quietly at the Hospice of Southwest General Hospital in Strongsville, Ohio on September 15, 2011. She was in her eighty-seventh year. Born Constance Carmel Ramsey in Bathurst, NB, she was predeceased by her father, Harold C. Ramsey, Q.C., her mother, Katelene (Mullins) Ramsey and her Step-Mother, Irene (Hachey) Ramsey, all of Bathurst. Her husband, of forty-one years, James K. Clark, predeceased her in 1990 after a long struggle with Parkinson's. She is survived by three sons: Dr. Don (Carolyn Leong) of Reno, Nevada, Rick (Renee) of Streetsboro, Ohio and Jim (Gretchen) of Denver, Colorado as well as nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly. She is also survived by her brother, Charles (Diane) Ramsey, of Fredericton and her sister, Susan (Len) Wylie, of Bathurst. Con, Connie or Grandma Connie was deeply involved in the Parkinson's Support Group and was an active quilter and knitter and had a large circle of friends in her local Seniors' craft guild. This tribute was sent by one of those friends: "I purchased a light on the Akron Children's Hospital Children's Tree in Connie's memory. Connie made hundreds of knit booties for the neonatal intensive care unit and faithfully brought them to me at KISS quilt guild meetings. I delivered them to the hospital where they were very much appreciated and kept many little feet warm. [She] was a wonderful lady and my life was enriched by having known her...." Con loved her family, her friends, her crafts and her wonderful summer retreat at Holiday Camplands in North Eastern Ohio. And she loved New Brunswick. She came "home" frequently to visit her New Brunswick family and her many friends. She will be remembered with love (and a smile) by all who knew her.
