Entered into the promise of eternal life with and through Christ on Sunday, October 9, 2011, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by father Donald and first wife Norma. Leaving to mourn wife Marilyn; son Richard; adopted sons: Don and Dave (Stephanie); stepchildren: Derek Moores (Heather) and Carolyn Barrington (Christopher); grandchildren: Devan and Kelsey Flower, Riley and Marissa Moores, Maria and Mya Barrington; mother Bernice Warner (John); sister Kim Todd (Steve); parents-in-law Bill and Dorothy Vokey; as well as many other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service will be held from the Elim Pentecostal Tabernacle on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
