DAVID - Laurie May Elaine Alice David was born on March 27, 1962, at Shaunavon, SK, to Loren and Winnifred Cox and passed away in the Medicine Hat Hospital on September 22, 2009, with her husband of 27 years by her side. Laurie fought a courageous battle with breast cancer for just about 11 years. She will be fondly remembered and missed by her husband, Robin; and her sons Ben, Matthew and Ethan; as well as the rest of her family and friends. God is always looking for Angels; He takes the good ones first - the rest of us have to wait. A memorial service was held in Eastend Memorial Hall, Monday, September 28, at 11 a.m. with Barry Grant as master of ceremonies. Special music was provided by The Hansens. A poem “Soul of a Fighter” (by Jill Eisnaugle) was read by Katelyn Seman. In Laurie’s memory donations may be made to your local Palliative care units.
