MOSHER, FREDERICK “FRED” G. - The passing of Frederick “Fred” George Mosher of Fredericton occurred Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at White Rapids Manor, Fredericton Junction, N.B. He was 80. Born in Summerville, Nova Scotia, on August 16, 1931, he was the son of the late Raymond Frazer and Edith May (Dodge) Mosher. Fred was Baptist by faith. An avid outdoorsman, he spent many enjoyable hours camping and boating with family and friends. Fred was a great lover of music and playing guitar and singing was one of his greatest passions. For over 40 years Fred worked as a Diesel Technician and for the past 16 years was employed with the Province of N.B. Fred is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Margaret Rose (Davis) Mosher; three children, Deborah Angrove of Brampton, Ont., Gary Frederick Mosher and Kelly Eugene Mosher both of Fredericton; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; a brother Ernest Mosher of Summerville, N.S. His parents, two sons Donald and Michael as well as a sister Hazel all predeceased him.
Fred’s request for no formal visitation or funeral service will be respected. Friends are welcome to join the family for a graveside committal service to be held Friday, October 21, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Forest Hill Cemetery, Fredericton with Rev. Monte Peters officiating. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Fredericton S.P.C.A. or the Children’s Wish Foundation.
