It is with sadness that we, the family of Kitty Andrews, formerly of Sydney Forks, announce her peaceful passing at the Cove Guest Home on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009.
Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Kate Smith.
Kitty will always be remembered as a very active member of St. Mark’s Church, Coxheath, and the Ladies Altar Guild. Her homemade buns and rolls were very much sought after at the tea and sales.
Being a sociable person who loved to talk and laugh, Kitty welcomed tourists of Cape Breton into her home, the Willows Tourist Home. Many of her guests became regulars and family friends. She was a very caring person who was always there to help others in need.

She is also survived by grandchildren, Trevor (Wendy) Pushie, Janine (Jason) Forrest, Chad (Amber) Pushie, Ryan, Kelley and Casey Andrews and great-grandchildren, Jack and Charlie Forrest, Ontario.
