Passed peacefully away on Tuesday, October 11th, 2011 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, Ella Mae Tulk at the age of 95 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her two sons: Douglas (Inez); Deer Lake, George; Prince Edward Island, a large number of grandchildren and great grandchildren, sister Thelma and brother George, as well as a large circle of nieces nephews, other relatives and friends. She was pre-deceased by her husband Stanley Tulk, parents Philip and Lily Mauger and sisters and brothers. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive Deer Lake on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Friday, October 14th at 2 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Tony Newell officiating, with interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery, High Street. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to The St. Paul’s United Church Fund.
