Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Centre, St. John’s. Leaving to mourn wife Adelaide; daughters: Karen (Dave) Grand Bank, Anne Hatcher (Michael Walsh) Mt. Pearl; grandchildren: Stephanie (Cody), Jennifer, Stephen, Beth and Lia; sisters: Effie, Ruth (Reuben); sister-in-law Rita, St. Catherine’s ON; brothers-in-law: George, Eric (Diane), Earl (Stella), Owen (Cathy), Sam (Christina) and Arnold (Christine); sister-in-law Vye (Peter) and other relatives and friends. Predeceased by parents Ira and Winnifred Hatcher, brothers Reginald and James and brother-in-law Clarence. Cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends may visit the family on Friday, October 14, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. at St. David’s Anglican Church in Pasadena. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from St. David’s. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
