Lawrence Frederick Alexander
August 19, 1927 – October 21, 2009
Dad: Lawrence Frederick Alexander passed away quietly at the Herb Bassett Home in Prince Albert, SK. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending winters in Arizona. Lawrence farmed, worked at the Provincial Jail and retired from the City of Prince Albert in 1988. Lawrence is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sheila (Kavanagh); his son Mark (Cindy) of Prince Albert, SK; his daughter Holly of Regina, SK; his grandsons Todd (Nicole) and their children Colton and Maddison and Trevor (Christine) and their son Nolan; his sisters Genevieve Kvinlaug and Lucille Hill and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Frederick and Genevieve; his brothers Emil, Oscar and Wilfred; his sisters Eunice, Orpha and Iona; his in-laws John and Sheila Kavanagh. At Lawrence’s request there will be no Funeral Service. A Private Graveside Service will be held at the Shellbrook Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Charity of Donor’s Choice. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
