SAUNDERS, FRANK LEWIS - Frank Lewis Saunders passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1934 in Saint John he was the son of the late John and Alice (McPhee) Saunders. Frank owned and operated Westside Pool Hall/Westside Grocery. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters for all their love. He is survived by his daughters Barb LeBlanc and Angie Torrie; son Mark Saunders; son-in-law Guy Arseneault; grandchildren Angela, Jennifer, Crystal, Sabrina, Mark Jr., Tim and Tammy and several great grandchildren; brother Gerry; sister Mary Jane; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Hazel (Darrah) Saunders; daughter Pam Arseneault; sister Sharon; brothers Duckie, Johnny and Stanley.
In keeping with Franks wishes, there will be no visitations. A Memorial Service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Saturday October 15, 2011 at 11 a.m. Donations in memory of Frank made to Romero House Soup Kitchen would be appreciated by the family. www.fundyfuneralhome.com
