TRENHOLM, ALEXANDER - Alexander Clifford Trenholm, age 61, of Bayfield, passed away peacefully at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born in Cape Tormentine, he was a son of the late Wylie and Carmen (Trenholm) Leard. Survived by wife Virginia Trenholm, Moncton; their children, Tanya, Moncton, Tracey (Jan), Shediac Road, Trina, Dieppe, Joseph, Moncton, Jason (Tiffany Polley), Bayfield; his children from a previous marriage, Marsha, Amherst, Amanda (Adam), Mississauga, ON, Jeff, Mississauga, ON; several grandchildren; siblings Bruce (Sandra), Timber River, Joyce (Evan) Van Pelt, Cape Pele, Doris Robinson, Melrose, Kevin, Bayfield. He was predeceased by a son Douglas, and two brothers James and Douglas, a sister Ruby.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, 3 West Main St., Port Elgin, NB (506-538-2241) where visiting hours will take place on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 11 am, William Drysdale DLM officiating. Burial will follow in the Bayfield Cemetery.
