The family of the late Henry Kendall would like to thank relatives and friends for their overwhelming show of support during this difficult time.

We express sincere appreciation for the many acts of kindness, messages of sympathy, the flowers, and donations to the ALS Society. To those who took care to provide so much delicious food, thank you.

We acknowledge Gerald Kinslow, whose longtime friendship and loyal visitation meant so much.

Our deepest gratitude is extended to Henry’s healthcare providers - to the wonderful nurses of the 4th floor WMRH, as well as Doctors Davis, Smallwood, Scott and Tavernor. Special thanks to Bev, Jenna, Tammy and Andrea, the community health nurses whose home care was always administered with a smile and tenderness.

Thank you to all who attended the funeral home and funeral. We commend Fillatre’s Funeral Home for the professional and compassionate service provided. Special thanks to Reverend Rice, the choir, organist, pallbearers, and to the ACW for the lovely lunch after the service.

Finally, our utmost thanks to The ALS Society of Newfoundland and Cheryl Power specifically. No words can ever express our gratitude to Cheryl, who was with us every step of the way during the long battle that Henry had with this terrible disease. Your visits over the years were so appreciated. Your sense of humor always lifted our spirits. You were, and always will be, a cherished gift in our lives.
