The family of the late Mildred Gertrude Bennett wish to express sincere thanks to the many friends and relatives and to all who helped in any way to alleviate the sorrow caused by the sudden passing of a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.

The kindness and concern offered by co-workers of family members of the College of the North Atlantic, Canada Post, Bay St. George Long Term Care Center and the Office of the Chief Information Officer, Provincial Government is greatly appreciated.

To the ICU staff of Western Memorial Regional Hospital and the emergency department staff of Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, a very special thank you for your kindness and attention to our mother during her final days.

Thank you to Rev. Gerard Patry for the spiritual guidance and prayers during this difficult time. Thank you to Andy Tobin and the Catholic Church Choir for their part in the service. A special thank you to Jennifer Dawson-Hobbs for the beautiful rendition of “Amazing Grace” in Mi’Kmaq. Also, thank you to the Royal Canadian Legion for the provision of premises, food and refreshments after the funeral.

Thanks to the many friends who were there for us during this difficult time and truly shared in our sorrow. Your kindness will always be remembered.

Our memories of our mother are the greatest gifts she left us to enjoy.
